The answer is yes! Actually, truckers are going for trucking software to make their life a little easier. A trucker’s life is not all about being behind the wheel of a big rig. They have a lot of paperwork and information to keep track of for themselves as well as the trucking company that employs them. There is a variety of trucking software programs out on the market today, so it depends on what needs to be accomplished as opposed to which of the variety of trucking software programs you will purchase.
Let’s stop and think about why a trucker would need trucking software. What do they do for a living? Drive! These truckers cover a lot of miles and have to fill up their fuel tanks periodically. There are trucking software programs that assist the trucker in recording the miles they traveled as well as each time they stopped to fill their fuel tanks. The trucking software can keep track of all the mileage and expenses accrued during a trip. Most early motor vehicles had a basic set up with the engine mounted in the front with a gearbox attached to it driving the rear wheels only and this became the normal design of most vehicles for many years. As design progressed engine position and transmission (gearbox) position was experimented with to help with traction and handling. Rear engine and mid-engine vehicles became available as did front and all wheel drive. Four wheel drive vehicles began life early in the twentieth century and a number of companies had their own designs for supplying off road trucks for business and commercial use. The importance of having load carrying vehicles that could transverese harsh terrain was important due to the lack of roads. Both the British and American armies during World War One had four wheel drive trucks for heavy terrain use for carrying troops and equipment. However the need for a true multi purpose on and off road vehicle became apparent.

Where do you get a good quality Harley Davidson Part? Can I use an aftermarket part?
These questions are not easy to answer. It depends a lot on your situation, part you’re looking for, and the money you want to spend.
The bottom line……… you have to decide.
I have a little information here that may be useful to you, so keep reading!
An OEM part versus an aftermarket part.
An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part are of course the genuine Harley Davidson Part you would find at an authorized Harley dealer.
These parts are original in that they have the exact same specifications that came with the original part.
These parts however many not have been manufactured by Harley Davidson themselves (at their physical location). Harley may get another company to manufacture these parts to Harley specs, and then they will sell them in the Harley box as OEM.
OEM parts are generally more expensive, and almost always recommended by the dealer. (They make their money by selling parts not bikes)
